- The smart tag equipped with a set of sensors is placed inside the cargo container that is sent to a destination
- The tag records changes in environmental conditions at intervals - temperature, humidity, overloads
- When the goods are delivered, the information from the tag is read via Bluetooth using a smartphone
- The received information is then transmitted to the server for further processing
